Summary:
Ever since the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, between the Catholic forces of James 11 and the Protestant army of William of Orange, Ireland became a troubled land. The partition of the island in 1920 led to even more conflict. The people of the six counties separated into two groups, loyalists under the Union flag and republicans under the Irish tricolour: the Ulster Defence Association (UDA) in the Loyalist camp and the Irish Republican Army (IRA) in the Republican camp; other dissident factions were to follow. Successive peace initiative failed when one side or the other began stirring discontent in order to gain superiority. Police intervention only made the situation worse and when both sides in the conflict began targeting law officers, troops were sent in to assist in the restoration of law and order. The soldiers were welcomed at first but very soon became themselves targets when they were seen to be neutral in the conflict. Criminals, exacerbating the situation for financial gain, began to infiltrate the respective enemy camps, swearing allegiance to their cause. Hundreds of people, innocents among them, died in the conflict and damage to infrastructure, both in the Province and on the British mainland as well as British military bases in Germany, was putting increasing strain of the public purse. A solution had to be found. On his retirement from military service, after two eventful tours of the Province, SAS Major Cedric (Nosey) Parker formulated a plan to resolve the conflict once and for all. He went into politics and won a by-election, replacing his deceased predecessor, and was appointed defence spokesman for the Liberal Democrats who, on winning the next general election in coalition with the Conservative party, implemented Parker's radical plan of action codenamed 'Retribution'.

Summary:
Fighting faith in a Godless World With Baal finally erased from the world after a hard-fought battle, a new threat lurks – even more dangerous than its predecessor – who introduced itself as Marid. The truth of ‘The Coming of The New World’ has been exposed and now the danger rises to new heights when the concept of existence itself is in peril. A peculiar career choice and a blooming relationship wasn’t enough to keep Jericho grounded after realizing the truth of the world, his companions and himself. Now that the threat has scaled beyond the boundaries of a normal world, he must travel beyond the Living Realm if he wanted to free the capital city of Paradise – Jannah. There, the Angels plan to revolt against the Demons who have oppressed their race ever since their kin was conquered by Marid. It is battle which has been prophesied in history, yet the outcome remains unclear. Fighting against the inevitable is praised as courageous by some…and foolish by many. Summary:
Forgiveness and Retribution: Responding to Wrongdoing argues that ultimately, forgiveness is always the appropriate response to wrongdoing. In recent decades, many philosophers have claimed that unless certain conditions are met, we should resent those who have wronged us personally and that criminal offenders deserve to be punished. Conversely, Margaret Holmgren posits that we should forgive those who have ill-treated us, but only after working through a process of addressing the wrong. Holmgren then reflects on the kinds of laws and social practices a properly forgiving society would adopt.

In Peru, two names overshadow all acts of violence by reason of exceptional, systematic, continuous and paranoic expressions of evil: Lope de Aguirre and Francisco de Carvajal. In Bogota, Juan Rodriguez Freyle set down a chronicle of lawlessness, greed, murder, passions, intrigue, and corruption and the often criminal behavior of the guardians of the law and judicial inspectors.
